Are you looking to trade your textbooks for some real-world paws-on experience?
Dalton Road & Keswick Veterinary Clinic is looking for an energetic, animal-loving Summer Student to join our team for the busy season!
Whether you are a pre-vet student looking for hours, a vet tech student wanting to sharpen your clinical skills, or vet assistant student, we offer a fast-paced environment where you’ll be more than just a bystander.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Clinical Support: Assisting our RVTs and Veterinarians with patient restraint and exam room flow.
- Tech Savvy: Utilizing Shepherd for medical records and managing appointments.
- Lab Work: Learning the ropes of Idexx diagnostics and in-house testing.
- Patient Care: Ensuring our hospitalized patients are comfortable, clean, and walked.
- Client Connection: Helping with check-ins, answering phones, and providing top-tier “pawsitive” customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
Currently enrolled in a Veterinary Medicine, Vet Tech, Pre-Vet program or Vet Assistant.
A “no task is too small” attitude—from cleaning kennels to assisting in surgery. Strong communication skills (human and animal!).
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with a smile.
