UKBIA’s Harvest Festival
This past year we at the UKBIA’s Harvest Festival on Sept 12/15 Keswick Veterinary Clinic hosted a Pet Costume Contest. Everyone went home with a prize! But the best thing was making a new friend or two! Check out the pictures ! We also had an educational table about foods that are poisonous to pets. Mark your calendar for next year – Saturday September 17, 2016 9am-2pm.
Santa Claus Parade
Decorating the float and participating in the parade is always tremendous fun – a little cold sometimes but a lot of fun!
Farley Foundation
We host a yard and bake sale in our local Sobey’s parking lot one Saturday in October. The Farley Foundation assists people and seniors on disability with emergency vet bills. Check out the Farley Foundation website for more details. www.farleyfoundation.com
Farley Foundation Bike Ride
As pet owners ourselves, we understand how devastating it is when a pet becomes sick or injured. The situation is even more trying when a pet owner is unable to provide necessary veterinary care because of personal/financial circumstances beyond their control. At Keswick and Dalton Road Veterinary Clinic we try our best to help our clients, but sometimes it’s just not enough. That’s where Farley Foundation steps in. Over the past sixteen years, the Farley Foundation has disbursed over $3,400,000 to help more than 8,500 people in need by providing non-elective veterinary care for their sick/injured pets.
This year the staff at Keswick and Dalton Road Veterinary Clinics ride again for the Farley Foundation. Dr. McNeil, Andrea, Cassie along with Cassie’s friend Jordan and Dr McNeil’s 2 sons Dan & Rich will be riding 100km up and down the escarpment in the Milton area. We are trying to raise as much money as we can for the Farley Foundation before our ride on Saturday, September 22nd, 2019.
